Windows are useful to segregate content into a well-defined area in the UI.
Windows usually float.
That is what they're meant for: flexibly move content across the screen so that you can arrange content as you please. That is how you're accostumed to.
PacemWindowElement can be dragged (and rescaled as well) when you put them inside a PacemWindowAreaElement.

You can even dock the window on the side of the screen and use them like full-height drawers. See the example below:
